Anna is a registered massage therapist with a background in herbal medicine and is currently undertaking further studies in anthropology. She values the importance of building trust and understanding to facilitate space for healing within the body. Primarily, her treatment style involves myofascial work and traditional therapeutic techniques of varying depths based on client needs and comfort - blended with relaxation for a whole body sense of wellbeing. She has a special interest in treating those with concerns related to pre/post natal period, menstrual health, and folks with hyper-mobility or joint instability. As an avid lover of the outdoors, books, warm drinks, and the rain - Anna aims to create a grounding and comfortable atmosphere at all times.
Tadhg Saxa Cooper is a Registered Massage and a Reiki Master. With a background in linguistics and the social sciences they understand the importance of your stories. These avenues of educational experiences have led Tadhg Saxa to a naturally holistic approach to client care. Tadhg Saxa is ready to help your body facilitate the healing it needs. They have a special interest in nervous system regulation, and the ways in which the body remembers physical and psychological traumas. Their research papers and case study while at the Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage was focused on how massage has the potential to help adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. This research was enlightening to the fact that the mind and body are interconnected even in dissociative states/perceived states of disconnection. It also confirmed the integrative properties of empowered and consensual touch for a client dealing with trauma or the stresses of daily living.
In 2009, Pamela graduated with honours from the Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage in Fredericton, NB, where she also earned a Certificate of Achievement in Sports Massage Therapy.
Since then, she has continued to advance her professional development through workshops in meditation, mindfulness, cupping, kinetic sports taping, gua sha, concussion fundamentals, and stress management. Her current areas of interest include scientific research on longevity and aging, as well as, neuroplasticity.
Her treatments are often tailored around active/passive assisted stretching, myofascial releasing, manual traction, controlled movements with flow and providing a safe and supportive space for clients to release physical and emotional tension stored in their bodies.
Pamela, is a strong believer in the power of nature and it’s healing properties. She’s a big supporter of the practice of being calm and quiet amongst the trees (Shinrin-yoku/forest bathing).
